Managed Service Options

 

Sudden Scene Change

  • Video systems work best when there are no obstructions to its line of sight. Using the latest analytical technologies, Select Security can detect when the something suddenly blocks the camera’s view, and will remotely access the other cameras on your network to determine whether the activity is suspicious, such as a burglar placing a bag over lens.

 

Audio Guard

  • When coupled with any of our managed video services, Select Security is able to remotely broadcast audio live from our monitoring center to deter any trespassers that are detected. Audio Guard services are perfect for areas at high-risk areas such as warehouses, logistic facilities, swimming pools, banks, school buildings, and governmental facilities.

 

Alarm Event Video Verification

  • Using a secure internet connection, Select Security can remotely view your camera network when an alarm signal from your security system is received by our monitoring specialists. As soon as an alarm is tripped, our team can access your system to assess the situation, determining if an actual alarm condition exists, decreasing the number of false alarms (and your false alarm fees). In most cases, our monitoring center will continue to keep an eye on the scene until emergency personnel arrive. Event Video Verification service requires both a static IP address and a password that our monitoring center can use to access your DVR as needed.

 

Analytic Event Video Verification

  • Using a secure internet connection, Select Security’s monitoring specialists can remotely view your camera network when your cameras detect suspicious activity, using advanced on-board analytics. As soon as a signal is received, our team can access your system to assess the situation, determining if an actual threat exists, decreasing the number of false alarms (and your false alarm fees). In most cases, our monitoring center will continue to keep an eye on the scene until emergency personnel arrive. Event Video Verification service requires both a static IP address and a password that our monitoring center can use to access your DVR as needed.

 

Video Network Health Monitoring

  • Ensure your camera network is always running with our Health Monitoring service. Using a secure internet connection, your DVR can notify our monitoring center at the first sign of trouble. Should one of your cameras fail, or if your DVR overheats or has a disabled hard drive, our team of specialists will automatically notify you of the issue. When coupled with our Premium Repair Service, our Customer Care team will immediately schedule one of our professional repair technicians to fix the problem at no charge to you.

 

Remote Guard Tours

  • Enjoy the benefits of an on-site guard, without the overhead cost, using Select Security’s Remote Guard Tour service. Using a secure internet connection to your camera network, our monitoring specialists will remotely tour your location based on a pre-determined or random schedule to make sure no one is on your site after-hours. When an issue arises, our team will follow your call list instructions to notify site personnel and emergency services as necessary.

 

Video Maintenance Tours

  • Over time, dirt and dust can obscure camera views, reducing your system’s effectiveness. Video Maintenance Tours provide you with peace of mind, knowing that your camera is remotely inspected weekly to ensure the lens is clean, the camera is connected and transmitting video, and there are no physical objects obstructing the view.
