December 27, 2009 – With less than one week left until New Year’s Eve, Patrick and Peter Egan decided to help out the City of Lancaster, with the help of an anonymous donor, to save the annual tradition of fireworks to ring in the new year. December 20, 2009 – Select Security’s Williamsport office recently made headlines for its donation of PERS (Personal Emergency Response System) to AIDS Resource. The unit will be loaned to various AIDS Resource clients, based on need. According to Kirsten Felix, AIDS Resource executive director, “This system provides a unique solution for our clients because we are able to program daily check-ins and medication reminders. It enables us to provide a much deeper level of service for those clients most in-need and gives client and staff members peace of mind.” (An online link to the article is not available)
November, 2009 – Three members of the Select Security team, including Patrick Egan – President, Alex Nitterhouse – Lancaster Sales Manager, and Michael Drawbaugh – Williamsport Regional Sales Manager, visited the First Alert Professional annual convention in San Diego, CA, celebrating First Alert Professional’s 20th anniversary. Select Security was recognized as First Alert Professional’s “Rookie of the Year - 2009″.
May 1, 2009 – For the second year in a row, Select Security made it onto the 19th Annual SDM 100 list, coming in at number 91 out of the top 100 security companies ranked by monthly recurring revenue. Last year Select Security was listed at number 97, and we look forward to next year and moving further up the list!
June, 2008 – Patrick Egan visited Nashville, TN in the final week of June to attend the ESX Expo. While there, he and Select Security were recognized for their acceptance onto the SDM 100 list. Check back soon for more information!
